In 1977 a yearling Arabian colt entered my life and forever changed the course of it. Madu Gold Dust was CMK from Ben Hur/Lewisfield lines. Dusty's beauty, temperament, athleticism and intelligence made me passionate about not only Arabians but CMK Arabians!
Davenport Arabians Davenport Arabian horses are descended entirely from the historic Davenport Desert Arabian Stud. The group consists of individuals descending from horses imported by Homer Davenport in 1906 to the U. S. from Arabia, and, in some instances, in possible combination with pedigree elements from the Hamidie Society importation of 1893 to the U. S. from Arabia.

CMK ArabiansCMK is a preservationist movement directed toward breeding the traditional North American using and companion Arabians. It is based on Blunt and Davenport sources, but not entirely limited to them. It emphasizes the two great "cooperator breeder circles" of the 1950's, which were the Jimmie Dean circle in the Midwest and the H. H. Reese or "Old California" circle, which includes the Kellogg horses.
