In 1977 my parent brought home a yearling Arabian colt. That colt forever changed my life. Madu Gold Dust became my best friend while I was growing up. I spent all my spare time riding him. My parents used him to breed to the Welsh Pony mares. CMK Arabians became a passion and I studied pedigrees early on. I wrote fan letters to Charles Craver because of his amazing articles in Arabian Horse World.

Dusty set me on the journey to want to breed CMK Arabians from the Ben Hur/Lewisfield lines. When Charles Craver came to our farm he mentioned how it was like being on the Ben Hur Farms in the past. He also mentioned "You must really like Antez!" He said he saw alot of Antez in my herd. Ah ha moment. Which then started my Straight Davenport part of my program.

It is because of Dusty I have met some of the most incredible people. Charles & Jeanne Craver, Michael Bowling, Rick Synowski, Buzz Moore, Bazy Tankersley, R.J. Cadranell, Larry Wilson, Bobby Wallis, Di Hopkins, Claudia Provin, Bill & Bunny White, Larry Hemple, Natalie Ripley, Dub Miller, Barb Siebenhausen, Carol Woods, and the list could go on for days of all the people who have had an impact on me. Dusty is the reason I went into counseling and equine therapy, why I got into endurance, thus meeting even more amazing people..
